Sadako 1/7 Scale Pre-Painted Figure: Horror Bishoujo Sadako (Re-run) — Pre-Order Open at Play-Asia

Sadako 1/7 Scale Pre-Painted Figure: Horror Bishoujo Sadako (Re-run)

Some horror icons never really leave. Sadako, the terrifying spirit at the heart of the Sadako franchise, still feels instantly familiar — long dark hair, a white dress, and a cursed videotape no one should ever play.

This re-run brings that legend back as a HORROR BISHOUJO statue, reimagined through the distinctive character art of Shunya Yamashita. Pre-orders are open at Play-Asia now, with a pre-order deadline of 24-Nov-2026, so Halloween is a fitting time to secure one.

The sculpt

Kotobukiya presents Sadako in a crouched, haunting pose above a tangled base. The sculpt leans into contrast: a delicate bishoujo presentation set against an unmistakably eerie subject, combining beauty and horror in one display piece.

Details & finish

Long flowing hair is a focal point, and interchangeable hair parts let you display her with her face covered or visible. Detailed paintwork recreates the eerie atmosphere of the original horror icon, while customizable unraveled tape elements add movement around the figure.

In the box

The base is inspired by the iconic videotapes from the franchise, tying the whole scene back to Sadako's story. With those tape elements arranged your way, no two shelves need to look exactly alike, and the compact height keeps the focus on the character.

Pre-Order at Play-Asia — US$122.99. Expected to ship: 31-May-2027.

Pair it with

Resident Evil: Revelations Collection — US$32.99. Survival horror makes its way to the Nintendo Switch in this two-game collection, for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. It is in stock at Play-Asia — the listing noted only 2 left in stock — making it a natural partner for a horror shelf and a horror game night.
